Day – 1
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar

Meet your local guide and driver and transfer to central located hotel.Overnight in hotel.

Day – 2 Khustain nuruu
national park

At the morning we will start driving back to towards Ulaanbaatar it is long way driving day. In evening we will stay in Khustain nuruu national park. Khustain Nuruu National park also known as Hustai NP has had remarkable success in re-introducing the Takhi wild horse and become one of the top travel destinations in Mongolia. The 50,000-hectare park, steppe and forest-steppe environment is also a great habitat of locally and globally endangered mammals and birds. Here we will see the peaceful natural spectacle, the Hustai National Park which is the best known as a home to the Takhi or Przewalski’s horse, the last surviving wild horse in the world. The park was created as a place for the Takhi (Przewalski Horse) to be re-introduced back into Mongolia in 1992, where it had become extinct in the wild. Next morning will do off road in the national park to spot wild horses.

day – 3 Elsen Tasarkhai and Kharkhorum

On your way you will visit Elsen Tasarkhai semi gobi desert. Elsen Tasarkhai is a part of the Mongol Els sand dunes, that continues 80 km long 5 km wide across Burd, Bulgan and Gurvanbulag soums of Uvurkhangai province. It is located 280 km west of Ulaanbaatar and 80 km east of Karakorum – the ancient Mongolian capital. The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river. Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi-type landscape in one location. Local people call this sand dunes Duut mankhan (Singing sand). Experience the lifestyle of nomadic family in a traditional Mongolian ger or ride the camel, walk on sand dunes, and relax in beautifully serene nature. The area is populated by the Maral stag (elk), wolves, deer and fox. The Elsen Tasarkhai literally means “an isolated torn-off piece of sand” and it is a small sequence of real desert in the midst of green steppes. After your lunch near this spot we will continue driving towards west to Kharkhorum city. Kharkhorum is an ancient capital of Mongol empire. Kharakhorum, founded
in 1220 by Chinghis khan, was not only the capital of the vast Mongolian Empire, but the epic center of trade along Silk Road, and a cultural melting pot bridging east and west. We will visit
Kharkhorum museum and Erdene zuu monastery that was built on ruins of Kharkhorum city. Stay at the Hotel in Kharakhorum village.

day -4 Tsenkher Hot Spring

Tsenkher Hot Spring is the second hottest spring of Mongolia after Shargaljuut spring. Heat of the water reaches 86 celsius degree. It is an alkaline spring that contains hydrosulfuric acid and silica union and used for medical treatment. Tsenkher Hot Spring is good for treating rheumatism, neuralgia, muscular pain and arthalgia and help improving digestive system, restoring immunity after surgery and recharging yourself. Drinking the water for a small dose or bathing for a specific amount of time are the ways of treatment. Spend night there.

day – 5 Khorgo Mountain – Terkhin Tsagaan Lake

Located in Tariat soum, Arkhangai province. About origin of fresh watered Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, flowing of north and south Terkh Rivers locked by lava flow from a volcanic eruption. The length of lake is 16 km; width is 6 km, 20m deep, 2060 m above sea level and occupied 61 sq.km. The biggest river which is one of the 10 rivers, flow into lake is Terkh river. Also only one river flows from the lake is Suman River. Suman means “Arrow” because this river
flows through the lake like an arrow. There is a small island at the middle of the lake, birds make their nest and lay eggs. About Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake, there is interesting story. An ancient time, a mother and son were living this land and they carried their drink water from small fountain from the deep of ground. After they take some water they have to bung it. But one day son went to this fountain to take drink water but he forgot to bung it after take
and he slept next to the fountain. Later some minutes this some area covered by huge water and son’s mother worried about his son and she take top of mountain named “Uran mandal”, bung the fountain. Since that time this lake is exist here. The top of “Uran mandal” mountain is Small Island that mentioned above.

Day 6 – Ulaagchiin Khar Nuur – Lake

Today we drive towards the great meadow and begin the epic journey. We will stop and camp overnight on the Ulaagchiin Har Nuur(lake). Ulaagchiin Khar Lake is a beautiful lake in the semi-desert area. The northern shore of the lake is lined with impressive sand dunes and its southern reed shore and islands are magnet for migratory waterfowls. The lake is 30 km long, 10 km wide and 48 m deep. Nearby mountains are home to rare wild habitats including snow-leopard.

Day 7-8 Senjit Khad – Mukhart River

 On the way to Mukhart River we will see Senjit Khad. The rock formations of Senjit Khad or Senjit Rock towers on the top of a mountain among the Gobi desert and mountainous steppes. The Senjit Khad is a 1 km long rock with a 6 m wide and 3.5 m tall arch, formed by the Gobi desert wind. A rough road goes through the natural arch. The surrounding area vista is amazing when seeing from the Senjit Rock. Mukhart River – is without a doubt one of the key attractions in the vast steppes of Mongolia. This river itself is a masterpiece of nature, as it flows from underneath the sand dunes. Numerous berries such as blueberries and sweetbriers grow in this region. The locals highly recommend stopping by this beautiful lake for refreshments and relaxation. With its extraordinary features and is a beautiful oasis in the desert. One that may remind you of the Great Gobi Desert of Mongolia at the same time with oasis.

day 9 Shine Ider to Zurkh lake

After 2 day enjoy in sand lake we will drive to a most beautiful lake of Mongolia which is calls a Khuvsgul lake ,but before reach in there we have a 10 hour drive to a place called Shine Ider for our next stay in Ger Tourist camp

Day – 10
Drive to Lake Khuvsgul

Another highlight of this tour .Finally reach a huvsgul lake after all long day driving. One of the largest lakes of Mongolia, known as “ The Dark Blue Pearl ”. Located in the most northern province (Khuvsgul aimag), it is the largest tributary stream of Lake Baikal in Russia. Khuvsgol is 1645 m above sea level and is frozen from January until April or May.Try to imagine a 2760 sq km alpine lake, with water so pure you can drink it. Then add dozens of mountains 2000m high or more, thick pine forests and lush meadows with grazing yaks and horses, Overnight in a wooden cabin

Day – 11
Explore  Khuvsgul Lake area

Today we take a boat tour and local reindeer photo in the deep taiga forest. You have a chance to ride on the back of the reindeer for taking your memorable picture.

The days you have the opportunity to trek and ride to the lakeside & mountain for exploring, taking pictures, enjoy wildlife, flora & fauna of the Khuvsgul lake area.

Day 12 ​Drive to Murun and return Ulaanbaatar

Up early you will be driven back to Murun for your return flight to Ulaanbaatar. (B)
